Basic level training

In the basic level, the northern style of Traditional Thaimassage is taught in comprehensive form.Besides the acquisition of 136 different techniques, the main focus is the right position of the body of the practitioner during the treatment. Each thursday roughly 1 hour of Yoga is practised before we start working with the handbook. The form of Yoga is especially adapted to the stretching techniques to be learned.

The course takes part on the weekdays mentioned below in blocks of 3,5 hours. In addition to that an examination date is individually agreed upon with the participants. A massage-unit in supine-, prone-, and lateral position is taught that can be freely combined and that can last up to 4 hours if applied in full lenght.

Training at Bodywork Studio

After the course, the participants have at their command a wide range of techniques, that can be combined specifically for the respective client in blocks of 1,5 or 2 hours. I have consciously decided for a duration of 12 weeks of the course to convey a profound quality and a lot of practical training to the participants.

Training at Therapy level

In this course the treatment of painful symptoms with the aid of acupressure are central. The locating of a great number of acupressure points aswell as the direction of pressure and the sequence of pressure along with the associated stretching and movement techniques is taught. After the course, the participants will be able to treat 50 different painful states successfully with the aid of acupressure.

Furthermore, the 136 different techniques taught in the basic level are completed with 30 different techniques of the southern style of Traditional Thaimassage amongst other things.Visualisation - and relaxation techniques which serve the protection against undesirable energies during the treatment conclude the program aswell as techniques to dissolve the energy after difficult sessions.

Individual tutoring

In the current year 2009 there`s only individual tutoring in the basic level. The individual tutoring runs over aperiod of 10 weeks and consists of a unit of 2 hours per week, 20 hours at the whole.

A handbook and a DVD can be aquired as additional material.

The participants should practise the techniques that have already been covered within their circle of family and friends in between the classes, which serves to consilidate these. The class should take place on a fixed day of the week. The date is individually arranged with the participants.
(example:each thursday from 14.30-16.30).

An exam and a certificate will conclude the course.
Total fee of the course: 650,- Euro.

Registration fee: 100,- Euro
The remaining 550 Euro can also be paid by instalments within the duration of the course.

Monday until Friday from 4pm until 9pm-a tutorial class for the exam is agreed upon with all participants.

Duration of the course: one week,
from monday to friday
from 4pm to 9 pm and one appointment for a tutorial class(5 hours) approximately 2 month later.
